CIBB 2026 – International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics
Information
Description
The 21st International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CIBB 2026) will take place on September 2-4, 2026 at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.
CIBB is an established international conference series dedicated to the application of computational intelligence, artificial intelligence, and advanced statistical methods to challenging problems in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and medical informatics.
The conference brings together researchers from computer science, statistics, and the life sciences to discuss innovative computational approaches for biological and biomedical data analysis. Topics include machine learning and AI for bioinformatics, statistical modelling for biomedical data, systems and synthetic biology, medical informatics, scalable and high-performance computing for life sciences, and emerging paradigms such as quantum and quantum-inspired computing for biomedical research.
CIBB 2026 will feature keynote lectures, plenary sessions, and special sessions focused on emerging topics. Accepted contributions will be presented at the conference and authors will be invited to submit extended versions of their work to post-conference proceedings published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) series and selected international journals.
