Arts Schools Network 2026 Conference
Information
Description
The nonprofit Arts Schools Network (ASN) is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year and gathering arts ed professionals from around the country for its 44th annual conference hosted by the San Diego School for Creative and Performing Arts October 20 – 22, 2026 in San Diego.
ASN’s Fall Conference brings together arts educators, administrators, and arts champions from across the United States and around the world. The dynamic, three-day conference includes workshops, professional development, performances, networking opportunities, and tours.
This year’s conference theme – BORDERLESS CREATIVITY: Arts Bridging Cultures – will highlight that art is the language without borders. Boundaries may exist on maps, but art dissolves them. It reminds us that imagination is infinite, that creativity transcends walls, and that when we teach young people to make art, we also teach them to change the world.
In keeping with the theme, our 2026 conference will showcase some of San Diego’s diverse and extraordinary arts institutions such as La Jolla Playhouse, Chicano Park, San Diego Opera and more. Attendees will be able to customize their conference experience to pick the content and experiences that are most relevant to them and their schools. With over 35 workshops, 8 community arts experiences, 5 community/school tours, professional and student performances choices, attendees will truly “choose their own adventure” in San Diego!
Conference registration is open with early bird conference rates in place until September 15: www.asnconference.org. For additional questions, please contact ASN’s Conference Manager Sharon at smaier-kennelly@artsschoolsnetwork.org
