MENA Earth Systems Sciences Congress (MESC)

Congress Scope

The MENA Earth Systems Sciences Congress (MESC) is dedicated to the examination of natural resources, considering their geological settings, types, origins, and spatial-temporal distributions through collaborative efforts and innovation. The congress will further address both the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable development initiatives. Serving as a forum for scientists, policymakers, industry professionals, and community stakeholders from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the MESC facilitates the exchange of ideas, dissemination of knowledge, and collaboration on sustainable solutions. Key topics to be explored include climate change mitigation, resource management, seismotectonic zones, biodiversity conservation, disaster resilience, and practices promoting sustainable development. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in substantive discussions, review case studies, and develop practical strategies to optimize the utilization of available natural resources within the MENA region and adjacent areas.
